My theoretical approach to mental health
issues is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Numerous
studies have shown CBT to be the most effective
psychological treatment for anxiety and mood disorders. CBT
helps people change their thoughts and behaviour in order to
improve the way they feel. CBT approach has proven to be
very helpful to people with low self esteem and to those who
feel they lack assertiveness needed to succeed in life.
